For assistance and salvage, 5 sea-going tugs and their crews are on call to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, including:

- the Abeille Liberté (Cherbourg)

- the Abeille Flandre (Toulon)
- the Jason (Toulon)
Relying on the expertise of 139 employees, Les Abeilles has been responsible for more than 30 years, for the protection of the French coastline and conducts refloating and high-sea towing operations and the prevention of oil pollution.
Les Abeilles operations:
- Over 400 assistance and salvage operations
- Over 400 escort operations for damaged vessels
- Over 600 stand-by operations in proximity to vessels in difficulty
