Priority objectives
Bourbon Offshore has set priority objectives in the area of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, with special emphasis on "constant improvement in ALL areas," with a preference for accreditation and ISO certification of ALL BOURBON's operating units
BOURBON's strategy is based on behaviors with three priority areas:
- Individuals : Improved knowledge, skills and behaviors
- Facilities : Better quality equipment and work environment
- Systems : Improved work safety practices and information management
Performance objectives
- Zero rate of LTI (Lost Time Incidents)
- Reduce work-related injuries and accidents on a continuous basis
- Reduce (negative) effects on the environment
- Improve "individual" behaviors and social responsibility
- Implement the ISM Code and adopt joint ISO accreditation for 9001:2000 and 14001 standards.
- Maintain an incentive not a sanctions policy to make safety a daily reflex and to promote a proactive attitude
- No damage on any Bourbon Offshore equipment or the property of any third party
- Mandatory systematic use of Personal protection Equipment (PPE)
An integrated management system for quality and safety
BOURBON has developed a QSMS (Quality & Safety Management System) focusing on client satisfaction which is a “model of excellence” based on the leading industrial systems, standards and practices (ISO 9001 and 14001, IMCA, IMO, OCIMF/TSMA, client systems).
