Key indicators

Because safety is the “backbone” of the company, constantly reinforcing the safety culture is an absolute priority for BOURBON. Its action in this area is based on management’s strong commitment, a continuous improvement in processes, individual responsibility and an ambitious program for developing, raising awareness and training the crews and teams.

Bourbon Offshore has set up processes and established a number of key indicators to provide regular monitoring of its performance.

To improve safety, prevention actions are in place on the ground: constant enhancement of methods of risk analysis, improvement in the risk prevention policy to reduce the total number of LTIR + (frequency of incidents with work stoppage) to ZERO and maintain the TRIR + (frequency of declared accidents at work) at 2 or less.

Objectives defined :

  • LTIR less than 0,26
  • TRIR less than 2,01

Glossary

TRIR : Total Recordable Incidents Rate

LTIR : Lost Time Incident Rate
